Переглядів 5 тис.5 місяців тому
Hi Everyone, In this video i talk about some of my favorite new features with the All new RC8B4.1 and how i think its improved handling and performance. Also a clip of the car in Action at The Dirt in CA.
My RC8 4.1 universal shaft are binding when put on blocks.. droop.... i turned down end points 64, till binding stops... maybe parts still breaking in.....or should I go CVD in the front?
Thanks again for all the engine help at fuel nats 💪❤️
Hey Hey finally get to put a face on Charlie and Matt. I watch the Charlie Show on YT and listen to RC Stuff on Spotify very frequently. Just wanted to say i love all that content its extremely helpful for a guy like me with no local legit tracks to ask anyone advice, just a bunch of old guys with diy tracks is who we are, so Thank You so much guys. Spencer that ball diff video you posted helped me build my first one and run it like a charm. Thank you for your videos as well. Peace everyone and careful on those Honda Groms or was that Mr.Chen i forgot but hope that person is doing well, stay safe and buy some dunlop TT's for that little bike 🏍
Hey, how many events are you planning to attend during your oz trip? See if you can bring an indoor/carpet car and come run Thursday night at lap addict in Newcastle!!
Hi Spence!
SHOUT OUT TO TEAM ASSOCIATED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE REPS!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!! RICH U THE MAN!!!!
Hey Spencer, any chance that rear wing mount will fit B6.4D shock tower? The individual mount is a pain in the booty to get lined up. Ended up hitting them with a heat gun so that my wing would sit level.
love the Etruggy! got a b4e converted to a .1 and want the truggy soo bad now..also .1&.2 nitro buggy..AE has not let me down yet!
Could you post your full ESC settings? That would be a huge help!
Getting one in two weeks can't wait
Question #2. Ive got the kit otw and was wondering do you upgrade the bearings or use ones from kit?
I like those containers you got, looks like great way to be organized. Where you get those at?
Thanks guys! Always love your building and tuning tips! Learnt a bit today about tuning the motor and esc to suit your tracks so thank you! Keep up the great work guys!
With a 17.5T G4R, would you suggest the 69T Spur/30T Pinion on a B6.4 for a large high grip track?
My sons building his 4.1 and I’ve purchased this engine. Can you please share your Venturi size and run time with the VP 30% Also is the clutch you are using and AE or Reds clutch Thanks for your help
I wouldn't use 30% fuel to run it in they are really good engines tho
SR uses the 30% VP Pro blend (not tessmann) which has 9% caster oil. In winter 7.0 as weather goes up you can go 7.5 or 8. He started on a AE clutch all 1.0 springs, he also has liked the Protek Clutch with the same setup... that's a really tiny difference you might try later, u can run the kit for now.
Was curious what those blue shock boots are on the T4? Thanks
Two of the greats!
Thinking about getting back into rc and want a b7 but I can’t afford to get both a carpet and dirt car but will be racing both. Which would you recommend getting c or d model so I could run both with changing the car setups for what I’m running on.
Could you make a list of all the option parts you fitted please throughout the whole build series?
Thos helps alot thanks guys
But lowering epa will disable turbo
We’re can I find setup sheets for rc8t4 I can’t find any recent setups
Great job Spencer! Team associated did great this past weekend! Killed it aydin Horne did a great job too. I still have the old car the b74.1 and it's great I can only imagine how the new b7 and the b74.2 feels like on the track...
Was able to get a fresh b7d bought today. Hopefully I’ll have it by the weekend. But looking forward to it. Thanks for these vids. Definitely super cool.
Hey man where can I get a cool painted body that already done?
Without batterie?
What air temp (ambient) were ya running that P3 in?
They run a P3 in winter, so l would say 80F and below... then this summer he has gone to P4 for all the hot outdoor races. He uses the reds plugs which are TS3 and TS4.
@@rccoachwenger Thanks
Anyone else have issues with the g3 hitting low voltage cut off way early. Just about everyone at our track pretty much just turns it off to avoid it.
Valuable information man, thanks!
Is there a big difference between the HW and the trinity motorlyzer in readings?
Throttle respond ? What is that. I usually like Tekin for 1/8 scale For 1/0 scale hobby wing. The only thing with the hobby wing it’s seems that it has already drag brake but it does not. I usually have to turn on/ up the cruise control up to 4-5%. What that does the car keeps on rolling before the speed controller automatic stops your car.
Interesting video, thanks! Around 5mins into it, when Adam said "25", I take it that's the Exponential setting for his throttle, and is that negative or positive?
Good video.
Some slightly confusing info on this video. Turbo timing is not enabled if the EPA is set below 100%. Also, for HW anything 94 and above is considered 100%. So, 96 is treated the same as 100, and turbo will work. 92 is not, and turbo is never activated. So the reason you're feeling such a difference between 92 and 96 is because turbo is disabled and also you're always in PWM when not at 100% You can easily confirm if the ESC is interpreting your full throttle as 100% by looking for the green light to go solid green at full pull.
Can you guys explain the ABS breaks and how to set them?
The secrets I have been searching for. It would be great if you could post a screenshot of the settings…so I don’t need to rewind and write down…. I am convinced to move up to 2200 for buggy and configure ESC for wheel spin and heat!
Wicked, good looking rigs...
wow loved every part
Nice Video I am using the HW 2000kv onroad motor in my e-buggy and this thing is awesome!!! Never had an issue with incoming dirt or wet astro for 13 month now & it saves some weight🤘🏻my gearing is 15/48 on std. Losi diffs Using almost Stock ESC settings... only: Throttle Rate 17 (and 10% expo on radio) Brake Rate 17 Brake Power 75% + some small adjustments on the radio Turbo 10° I Love it❤
Hobby wing ? How are your temperature . I think I bought one but did not check is for onroad did not install it. Just bought cause it was cheap.
@@j-1lokes294 Yes the Hobbywing Xerun 4268 G3 2000kv.. Here in Germany we always running 3 times 10 minutes Mains. Previous weekend we had: Ambient 20°c/68°F ESC 52°c/125,6°F Motor 72°c/161,6°F
nice collaboration
This shit is awesome. Thanks guys!
Sweet! glad you liked it!
Will you guys be at HRCR in June?
YES!
Interesting, I have known for a long time now that you are suppose to glue the bottom/flat side of the bead and I have tried to a few times and I have actually ruined a few tires trying to do it. I end up getting some glue on the side wall of the rim and when I let the tire go back into the rim, it catches on the glue on the rim and instantly bonds and the tire bead is not seated in the wheel properly leaving a lump on my tire. I really only glue the side walls on my 1/10 tires. I never had a tire come unglued on me but I’ll try to glue the bead again next time I am gluing up some tires; thanks for the tips
More input, ❤
awesome stream, appreciate the information
Hey gentleman is hobbywing going to make any new modified motors!? Lol I know you know if they are or not just the matter of if your allowed to tell us 😂
Hi were did you get that tshirt from
B7 upgrades , on super low grip very much like Hudy arena ( polished and hard packed) A great idea would be to add shock mounting holes to the current rear arms so we can flip them and get 6mm arm sweep , and with this sweep we need a bone which is 1-2mm longer so we can run the right amount of droop for bumpy outdoors conditions . See you at the worlds warm up 👍🏼
How about going over your tire prep system? Cleaning process with Glass cleaner, simple green, sauce durations, tire warmers, etc. thanks. Great job on the videos.
Thanks for the B7 set up update. What weight is your B7 for that shock package? If I run 1580-1600, would you recommend moving up 2.5wt and springs? Our club track doesn’t have the grip of HA.
